Radio-frequency identification uses electromagnetic fields to
automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. A tag can be
read from up to several feet away and does not need to be within the
direct line-of-sight of the reader to be tracked. Our wallets use two
inner aluminum plates to block RFID.
Our aluminum and
wooden wallets are durable, and you should have no problem getting an
engraving done using a third party. The carbon fiber wallets though are
unable to be engraved due to the fibrous nature of the material.
The screwdriver is included in case you ever decide you want to switch
your wallet from a cash strap to money clip wallet or vice-versa! You
could also refresh your wallet’s elastic if it ever started to get worn
out.
Typically, carbon fiber is made usable by laying it up in sheet form
and infusing it with resin. Forged Composite, on the other hand, is a
unique technology which involves using a paste of fibers mixed with a
resin to be squeezed out into various forms.
